Zzenith Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I downloaded the 12 training missions by SAbre TLA from the User Files section and unzipped them but am not sure which folder to put them into. Also if anyone else could point me to good training material that would be a great help as I've just purchased and installed the sim. Cheers
Eddie Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Users\%your username%\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Missions - you can create sub folders in the missions folder to keep things organised if you like.
Zenra Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Just put them in the Missions folder under the install directory (usually Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A10-C\Missions, if I recall correctly) and they will show up in the missions list within the program. Zenra Intel i7 930 2.8GHz; ATI HD5850 1GB; 1TB Serial ATA-II; 12GB DDR3-1333; 24 x DL DVD+/-RW Drive; 800W PSU; Win7-64; TM Warthog HOTAS

I did not know of this - probably a better place than I just suggested as there is probably less potential for changes when updating, reinstalling, etc. Thanks, Eddie! Change the zip to miz rather than unzipping them. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
Zenra Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 ^^^^^----- Good point, that! Zenra Intel i7 930 2.8GHz; ATI HD5850 1GB; 1TB Serial ATA-II; 12GB DDR3-1333; 24 x DL DVD+/-RW Drive; 800W PSU; Win7-64; TM Warthog HOTAS
Zzenith Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 Thanks all for the help, much appreciated. Any other advice with regards to training material. cheers
Jona33 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 The inbuilt training tutorials are highly recommended as they are fully interactive with highlights of what to click. You can create your own missions to test out things you've learnt as well. Endless good youtube vids. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
Zzenith Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 Hmm still having problems, Do you have to convert the zip/rar files to miz for the game to see them. The stock missions are compressed midi files how do I convert the new downloaded mission rars so that the game can see them
