A2A P-40

Bought it two days ago and I am having a ball learning how to manage the engines, and handle the hydraulics.

I would like to get some checklist information - for example, seems like when taking off you set the fuel indicator to Aux, then switch to fuselage.... but documentation does not speak about switching to the other tanks.

No much info on how and when to put the propeller into the correct manual mode.

I am trying to re-read all the provided docs and anything else I can pick up on the Internet.

Certainly not always. I tried the P-47. While everything was top notch, FM wasn't. Easy to test given that you know what phugoid is. Even ground handling was "made of generic bumping". With P-40 they introduced new ground handling modeling. So, again, not always. Rather "the first one to...", hopefully.

A2A has always ditched the FSX flight model and made their own. As usual the P-40's FM is EXCELLENT!

This goes for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk I/II with accu-sim also. Excelent flight modell and the accu-sim gives the aircraft life! Realy enjoyable. And with REX and Shade addons even a simple short local route in my backyard raises the WOW factor up a couple of klicks.
