TrackIR5 doesn't work in BS2

The folder is in the config file, but nothing in the options screen in game. It works fine in BS1, FC2 and Arma. Game and software updates in TrackIR program are up-to-date.

Have you tried making the profile exclusive. If that works then try setting your profile for DCS A-10 instead of Black Shark.

Tried that and still nothing. I even copied over the TIR folder from BS1 and still nothing. Reinstalled the newest TIR driver, reinstalled BS2....nothing, still not working or showing up in the options axis screen.

Oops, in here C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS Black Shark 2\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ka-50

 

There is no blue led, it's green on mine and yes it's working. But in the options screen in BS2 under Ka-50 Sim, axis control there is no TIR, I only see my CH stuff, mouse, keyboard and cougar MFD's....no TIR like it is in BS1 and FC2.

Having the same issue here, upgraded to latest Track IR software/driver. Other titles work, but BS 2 (upgrade) is not recognized. Only one LED is on (Means game not recognized) and "Title" in TrackIR is not recognized.

 

Blackshark profile is in TrackIR software.

 

Edit: After the track IR software update I also updated the game list and that seems to have resolved the issue. The second green light comes on when in controls menu or in mission, and TrackIr is working. Sorry Cali.

I tried updating my game list and it didn't help, but that was months ago. waiting for my money to get deposited into my account and I'll be buying or building a new computer. So there is no point in doing anything to my current computer. Glad you got it sorted out.

Are you using WinXP or Win7? BS2 Input folders are somewhere else than BS1. Those folders are only a copy.

^^ Thats where my input folders are, if for example I wanted to copy profiles across. The one in the Program files directory seem to be only for a copy.

I did that Riptide and it still didn't work, I'm not in a big hurry my fps are crap in there anyway.

Will do, thinking about spending $1500-2000, but trying to stay closer to the $1500, might get another gun.

1500 should be plenty. If I remember right, my own machine was ~1000 when I bought it (well, more if converted from my currency since I live in expensive country, but in US prices). 1500 will get you to around maxing the game and retaining a couple options for bling, I think.
