Cali Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 The folder is in the config file, but nothing in the options screen in game. It works fine in BS1, FC2 and Arma. Game and software updates in TrackIR program are up-to-date. I bought the upgrade for BS1 i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
acemark Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Im using IR4 with IR5 software. Works fine Home built X-58FTW,i7 950, 3 x GTX570oc, screens; 3 x 22", 19", 17", 9" :D My pit. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=121598
cichlidfan Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Never had a problem but..... Have you tried making the profile exclusive. If that works then try setting your profile for DCS A-10 instead of Black Shark. Cali Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 Tried that and still nothing. I even copied over the TIR folder from BS1 and still nothing. Reinstalled the newest TIR driver, reinstalled BS2....nothing, still not working or showing up in the options axis screen. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
Cali Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 Oops, in here C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS Black Shark 2\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ka-50 There is no blue led, it's green on mine and yes it's working. But in the options screen in BS2 under Ka-50 Sim, axis control there is no TIR, I only see my CH stuff, mouse, keyboard and cougar MFD's....no TIR like it is in BS1 and FC2. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
bn880 Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) Having the same issue here, upgraded to latest Track IR software/driver. Other titles work, but BS 2 (upgrade) is not recognized. Only one LED is on (Means game not recognized) and "Title" in TrackIR is not recognized. Blackshark profile is in TrackIR software. Edit: After the track IR software update I also updated the game list and that seems to have resolved the issue. The second green light comes on when in controls menu or in mission, and TrackIr is working. Sorry Cali. Edited March 26, 2012 by bn880 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Cali Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 I tried updating my game list and it didn't help, but that was months ago. waiting for my money to get deposited into my account and I'll be buying or building a new computer. So there is no point in doing anything to my current computer. Glad you got it sorted out. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
WarthogSmurf Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) Doesnt the trackir5 software gives you the profile for BS2 ... ? no need to config in BS2 .. or atleast i didnt Edited March 26, 2012 by WarthogSmurf woops he already did
EtherealN Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I'll be buying or building a new computer. About time you replaced that fossil. :P Hopefully the issue won't arise on the new one (though a shame to not have figured out what happened to it.) RIPTIDE Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Tried that and still nothing. I even copied over the TIR folder from BS1 and still nothing. Reinstalled the newest TIR driver, reinstalled BS2....nothing, still not working or showing up in the options axis screen. Are you using WinXP or Win7? BS2 Input folders are somewhere else than BS1. Those folders are only a copy. C:\Users\Neil\Saved Games\DCS BlackShark 2\Config\Input ^^ Thats where my input folders are, if for example I wanted to copy profiles across. The one in the Program files directory seem to be only for a copy. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Cali Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 I did that Riptide and it still didn't work, I'm not in a big hurry my fps are crap in there anyway. @Ethereal, just waiting for the money to be deposited into my account. Cali Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 Will do, thinking about spending $1500-2000, but trying to stay closer to the $1500, might get another gun. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
EtherealN Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 1500 should be plenty. If I remember right, my own machine was ~1000 when I bought it (well, more if converted from my currency since I live in expensive country, but in US prices). 1500 will get you to around maxing the game and retaining a couple options for bling, I think. Send me a PM when it's time.
