Hi there

yesterday a friend and I where attacking the same target.

we both were flying KA50 in BS2.

I saw the missile impact 20-30 m behind the moving tank and my mate reported a direct hit.

Today i was taking a closer look at this "issue" and for that i joined a MP game with A10C.

i waited for the Ka50 firing a vikhr on a target - and et voila - same issue.

Tank exploded BEFORE the actual impact of the missile.

See some example screens attached.

There are two types of fighter pilots - those who have, and those who will execute a magnificent break turn towards a bug on the canopy . . . .

Aren't those just network packet losses? IIRC DCS connects using UDP which is not the best in terms of reliability, and if more packet are gone such things can happen.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

That is a known bug. Essentially, the client gets incorrect position report for the player-launched Vikhr missile, causing it to display behind it's actual position.

EDIT: Ells, 17350.
