Strix Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Hi there! I have tried to find a answer in a lot of treads, but no luck. Haven't find any with 5 screens. And I have read the guide for multimonitor set up. So I go this way. I do use 3 monitors for screen view, 2, 19", one to the left of my 27", and one to my right of the 27". Now I bought 2, 8" vga connected lcd screens for displaying the left and right MFCD. Sad to say, I dont know how to do it.... I tried to alter the .lua files to match my request, but all I get is right MFCD in my upper left 19" monitor!! I tried to use the original files with MFCD to the left+Camera +right to the right on my 3 screens 19", 27",19" but oh no... I have tried for 8 hours now and I get tired of it..... I did use Easy Monitor Configurator from IceMaker, no luck My settings in A-10C is 4480x1680, no full screen. I did use SoftTh before, but i tried to go without it now. So where do I go wrong? I post a pic of my monitor setup. May the wings get you all the way. Win 10 64. The first place you went wrong is using Easy Monitor Configurator. It has been broken for the past several patches. Using it messes things up pretty badly. I don't recall what all it changes but a reinstall may be the best way to undo it. You will need to modify your monitor setup lua file manually instead. You also need to be slightly creative since DCS insists that the main display be in the upper left postition. This means that you will have to lie to DCS about where the monitors actually are, physically. I use a second monitor on the left and I have DCS configured as if it was below my main monitor. Did you have it working correctly with the three screens before you added the two 8"? PeterP Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Please attach and switch on all 5 monitors - make sure every monitor is in native resolution. Than please visit this site http://www.mechatronics4you.com/wp-content/uploads/tool/test.html and post the and post me the created text below "Copy this to your "config.SoftTHconfig" file:" -this will tell everything I have to know about your setup to write a fitting configuration that the MFCD's will be visible on your monitors. Please also post me the your configuration before you attach this two small screens. Add also info you have Cougar MFD's. And how many pixels wide/high the MFCDs of DCS has to be to fit inside them.

Strix Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Slayer!! SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg, I love you!! Now I got the left MFCD in the left 8" screen  Only need to move it a bit so it center in screen. So the only thing I was needing was a good lua file. Its my own fault that I cant do it right from beginning, I have really difficult to learn me those things, I am a big noob when it comes to read and understand things like that. It is so simple if you understand how you do it, but for me its like a travel to the moon.... THX for all help!! Win 10 64. TwoLate Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Strix I am glad you have it fixed. I have been looking into 8 inch to fit behind my Cougar MFD's so I do not want touch screen. Does the in cockpit MFCD's stop showing image whe you add the 8 inch screens? I have seen post on this and wonder if anything change on this in last patch. Reason I ask is about FPS hit.
