avlolga Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) Hi During the last month i have been working on Flight Simulation / Racing Seat. this is the result so far- Prototype - A it is very modular and you can add 2 touch screens in the sides. all of the Surfaces can be moved up/down for 50mm and can be turned to 180 degrees. the seat can be get high to in max 100mm. it is not done yet and i will get more photos for any of the options. i am using seat from real car - buying racing seat from ebay and ship to Israel is very expensive but getting those seat from car junk places are cheap. within one week +- i hope to finish the front console frame - it is going to be used for steering wheel, Pedals, front console panel / touch screen and up to 3 monitors. the frame can be build from wood too in low cost - jut get the seat or build one. Edited February 5, 2012 by avlolga

Deadman Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Looks like a good start  https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
WynnTTr Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Maybe it's the camera angle but it looks like you've got your stick to the right and in front of the edge of your seat. How does that sit with you? Because I'm thinking that you either swing your right leg out at an awkward angle or have them squeezed together (not doing your nuts any favours). It's a good job btw. Nice and clean.
avlolga Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 Hi, 3 monitors stand will be in next phase.this week I hope to paint the one monitor 21-32" front stand support with small screen below as front console screen. The seat can be moved back and forward (it is car seat with same motions function). The control plate can be rotate in 180 degree and by that can be moved far from you with in 2.5". So you can adjust it in many ways. Thanks for your comments. Avi

avlolga Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Hi I have create this platform to out local fans and small community but i am also thinking upload it to ebay, but without the seat , i will look for 5 +- popular seat and fix hols to fit them, so you can get the seat from your region and by that save many $ for heavy shipping. i like the idea to provide all in one platform, you can start with one screen, stick of steering wheel, add any time Yoke, second screen for front panel use, side panels farm, side touch screen holders, 3 screen support. hope you like it.
