trigen Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 This is something i've been curious on for a while. Seeing as A-10 is quite demanding on hardware i would really like to see the ability to run your sim over 2 or more computers with a lan connection. Now the computers dont really know about each other but you would set one computer to run the main view the next computer for left and so on, then you would sync these trough Lan so that you could move trackir etc and have it send its commands to the rest of the computers. Now this would only be available trough a password protected system so not to allow other users to enter your cockpit and just available over lan. Would i be correct to assume that the military version has this ability to interconnect computers? If anything this is a top priority for me as i'd like to run a 6 camera setup and performance is starting to become an issue I apologize if this has been brought up before, i did not find any on search 1080 ti, i7700k 5ghz, 16gb 3600 cl14 ddr4 oc

wingtip Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 if your only going to be running gauges etc then you could possibly use something like this http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/graphics_cards/m_series/?ref=mseries_adw it supports up to 16 monitors off a single pc.... EtherealN Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I'd definitely like this as well. I don't think the military version has this function though - the military version is a DTS (Desktop Training Simulator) used specifically for pilots that are learning the new avionics for the C-model, so the utility of such a feature for them is limited. PeterP Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 The only engine that is able to do this is up to now (and I saw a lot) is MSFS+WideSF.
