the A2A is a first rate simulation. Really the best in its class. The P-40 from the same company is also worth a look and is slightly more advanced in terms of systems. (PS. Also has a wonderfull supercharger sound :))

As above you will want the Accusim pack to really bring them to life. Dont expect to be able to fly low with the Accusim spitfire on a warm day as it will overheat just like the real one would :megalol:

I have the spitfire with the accu-sim pack and its a good upgrade of FSX. You also need "shade" and "Real Environment Xtreme" to realy make a good scenery. Its fun but I think DCS P-51 will be better ;)

The P-51D mentioned above is N-O-T The most recent A2A Mustang and is N-O-T upgradable to Accu-sim.I'm sure when The New[soon to be released] P-51D is out they will remove it from their store.

**No Offense Weasel** I just want to clarify so people won't get Burned

And A2A also has the P-51D in stock:

Yes but for us Norwegians its the Spitfire that was used in the WWII. Norway in fact got a few of them after the war also.

None taken :) - actually, thanks a lot, I was not aware of the "subtle" differences in their product-line(s). But since A2A is about to release just another updated version of their P-51D ... creating a Mustang for DCS makes even less sense, or does it?

Okay, at least we can destroy stuff in DCSFL :joystick:

PS: .... so FSX is still not dead then?! ;)

Haha!!:) Thx for understanding:thumbup: No FSX doesn't seem dead as long as Great developers keep breaking boundaries of the FSX engine and come up with more immersive stuff for us all to enjoy.
