hi guys

I haven't played A10 for a while and wanted to get back into it, but I don't know what version it is so that I can update with the correct patches (given the patches are incremental).

Thanks

Load the game and start a mission or quick mission; the splash screen should show you your version (bottom left corner).

If the version on the splash screen just says 1.1.0 then you have a fairly old version. I think 1.1.0.9 had it correct on the splash screen but not before.

You can also check the Properties for the executable or start the ME and look under the far right pulldown (I think). Somewhere under there is an about or info screen that will give the version number.

or possibly ME-Help-Credits, at the top of the credits I think.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

If it's really old the aggragate amount of download for the patches would probably be at or exceed 4GB.

Patching was a bit hit and miss for some so it's possible you'd end up with a dodgy install and end up downloading the latest and greatest after all..... 8GB download in the end.

I get 4 mb/s from the torrent on my connection

If you're not familiar with torrents it's pretty genius. Downloads can be aborted and restarted as many times you want without any loss in progress. Downside is if anyone is downloading as well it could ravage your internet connection by uploading too much; so set a low limit if you have a poor connection. Leave it overnight and you'll have it in the morning :)

Sounds like I'm trying to sell something but it's free and easy to set up
