Congrats!

 

I started mine (PPL) in October and I'm just about finished. It's a lot of fun even though there have been some frustrating times as well.

thank you guys. chicago is AKA "the windy city" and even though the wind forecast was 6 Knots it was quite gusty which made the ride "fun" and bumpy. cloud base was at 1900-1600 so we stayed quite low. on a plus side these somewhat unfavorable conditions made sure that we were the only plane in the chicago shore area which helped relax (but not until the end of the flight, lol).

Nice flight buddy. What airport are you flying out of? I've only been to Chicago once. I didn't like working around O'hares airspace too much. I envy you learning in busy airspace. Your going to learn radio calls better then most pilots will. It will help you out in the long run.
