I'm on the road and on a dumbphone, so I can't find the thread now, but I believe I verified the runway alignment from threshold coords and it checked out OK. I'll make sure it is indeed verified later today when back home. Doing my job on my day off... :)

Edit: But I'm not a tester, so I will let it rest... ;) (Nah, just kidding, but I am getting tired of the "nothing to see, move on and don't talk about it" replies us non-testers get when finding issues. We ARE trying to help.)

Your assistance and those of others are always appreciated in highlighting issues. Your report has been acknowledged and confirmed as being worked on - what exactly is it that you want to hear? Kindly inform me so that I can tailor my responses accordingly in future - I am not a soothsayer.

Oh yeah - for the record: Discussions have never been curtailed. On the contrary, discussions regarding issues, provided they are constructive, are welcomed and needed. Don't even begin to throw the 'don't talk about it' card about, especially since I am still awaiting your reply to my query of the one-and-a-half-degree question I asked as per post #14 of your thread.

With respect, it appears as if the jabog charts are incorrect insofar as it pertains to this specific example, ie Batumi.

Batumi is, as said, on a Mag Heading of 126 and 306 as opposed to the 119 and 299 in the jabog charts:

Was landing one time on airfield (can't recall which) and in both cases - EGI or HARS - I had to account for mag var on HSI.

Does that mean both of em are bugged?

Normally, all headings (in charts and on your instruments) are in magnetic, meaning you don't have to worry about variation while flying, except for when getting headings from your map.

(The exception would be wind reports, which are normally in degrees true, again with the exception for the winds given by tower prior to landing which are kindly given in degrees magnetic.)
