NRG-Vampire Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Unfortunately it doesn't work so far. When the MAZ start the armor on the trailers doesn't follow it. So, is the BMP a "ground vehicle group" ? You should try it with a "static object" BMP
beczl Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) I tried it. It's worse than previously. The vehicle doesn't use trailer bounding box if it's static. I tried with normal vehicle that I put it into same group as MAZ, different group and static. None of them are working. :-( Edited April 2, 2012 by beczl

The "universal" ground point has great potential. On Landing Ships, trains, vehicles and buildings you can "Add" cargo to them. The best, can load and upload them. Great usseful to deploy troops by APCs and IFVs. beczl Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 Basically the "cargo" never supported by the program. The helicopter landing issue was belong the missing or wrong ship collision model. Anyway the "universal ground" point is a good idea. But the implementation shouldn't be easy due this should be use a different class of vehicles..

Agreed, but U can use some trick, but it depends of your goal: An eyecandy "brainless" interchangeable vehicle on trailer or a "real" ground vehicle group/unit which will work as usual after dropped it off from the trailer. for eyecandy: use a connector on the trailer and put the cargo-vehicle "into" the connector like a weapon (on ship or on a SAM unit) if you use it like a weapon connector then the trailer will not leave the cargo, of course you need to add more new weapon slots for these vehicles, and needs new "vehicle.lua" file with the new "weapons"-vehicles Edited April 4, 2012 by HungaroJET Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits.
