Slayer Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 (edited) Seems very nice. Biggest improvement I've been waiting for is that the taskbar is no longer spanned across all 3 displays when using span/bezel correction. I don't know about you guys but I absolutely hated having start button on far left and clock etc on the far right. Also FXAA is interesting performance wise but haven't had enough time to tinker with it enough. Might be better for people trying to eek out a few more FPS vs. using the games AA. Edit: Screenshot of where to change taskbar to your liking. MTFDarkEagle Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I've been hearing good reports on those drivers, but I'm going to wait for the WHQL version though. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
skymaster9999 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Tried the FXAA but A10 is too blurry and shimmering for me. WindWpn Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I saw noticible improvement with FXAA and adaptive Vsynch in BS2 and A10C, running on GTX 295. Requires more flight time though to really see if this is a keeper, though from initial runs, looks good! The Rig: i5 7700k OC 4.6ghz, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1080ti, Windows 10 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Hamblue Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I've been running 301.24 for a couple of days now. Runs great. Slayer Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 Another thing I noticed with these drivers is I can now enable 4 displays using 2 480's....before I was limited to 3 displays period. I had always suspected this to be a software limit. The caveat is that it doesn't allow the 3 to be spanned and the 4th to be used. Possibly a hardware restriction but I still doubt it considering it can drive 4 displays. I think Nvidia wants to force me to upgrade... It also somewhat works with displaylink but when I turn on the USB monitor it turns off the 2 outer most monitors. Previously it would just thrash your system.
