Aries Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 (edited) First of all thx to the wargamelabs.com crew for making this great mission! Few nights in a row my squadron tried to fly this mission but the poor server (MBP Pajceki) always broke up at the moment we cleaned air defenses and should have started to have fun with them defenseless armour units... (not to mention all sorts of breakups during other training sessions). So, I decided to do a clean reinstall of 1.1.1.1 directly in root foolder ("C:") and deleting the Warthog folder from Saved Games... cause the server was continously upgraded from 1.1.0.7 forwards and was in Program Files, it even had some slmod beta on it. Tweaked the options a little to disable 3D rendering and stuff... And the result is ALMOST 11 HOURS OF STABILITY AND COMBAT PLEASURE!!! :punk: I woke up in the morning, connected with Teamviewer and was astonished to see it alive... then unpluged the tired ol' biatch... (Core2Duo 3Ghz, 4GB DDR2 and 90Mbit Down / 70Mbit Up link) So big thanks to all who flew the mission last night! Here goes complete Tacview Record :pilotfly: Edited April 23, 2012 by Aries [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ...the few, the proud, the remaining...
Harzach Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Wow - thanks for the Tacview, I love sifting through these for both educational and entertainment purposes. And congrats on your server!
Aries Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 Ha ha... just went through the Tacview... never even noticed there were Migs or the moment when Mi-24s returned to Mozdok... so much was going on, luckily we were angels 18+ :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ...the few, the proud, the remaining...
Aries Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 Hm... let it up last night again and it lasted for just an hour... don't really get it... I submitted a crash log... I'm sad... :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ...the few, the proud, the remaining...
HiJack Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Missions from 1.1.1.0 and older versions crash. My last MP mission buildt from scratch in 1.1.1.1 works fine. Start with basic units and normal flights and test for a couple of days. Do not copy units from older missions either! Recreate! (HJ)
shabo Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 (edited) Im glad you liked that mission. That was the first one Ive ever done for DCS. Its a shame that DCS isnt more multiplayer stable. Sucks to get a few hours into a mission like that one and have it crash. If there are more missions youd like to see me write just hit me up. Ive got some free time on my hands and need some new ideas. If you like that one hop on TS and d/l one of my others. The new ones are even more challenging then that 7 parter ;) I think we managed to clear Liberator in about 6 hours on Wargame Labs a few weeks ago. You are correct. There are all sorts of fun stuff to hit at Mozdok. That part of the mission usually lasts for atleast 2-3 hours. Just a quick question. What version do you have? I have an updated version that has the proper triggers for those bombers now. Hop on our TS and download it from the editing room. A few more tweaks and Ill soon be releasing it to the public. Here is a link to is on our website for those interested. Would love to hear some community feedback on this one. http://wargamelabs.com/download.php?view.196 Edited April 24, 2012 by shabo 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] www.wargamelabs.com you might need a life if you computer specs are in your sig ;)
Aries Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Did anyone have JTAC or LGB lasing problems in Operation Liberator during multiplayer sessions on our MBP Pajceki Server? I'm asking to check out if it was just me or maybe a common problem in the mission... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ...the few, the proud, the remaining...
