happyvacuuming Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 i have dcs black shark downloaded via steam.there are no training in my versiion, where are the training missions?
PeterP Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) (I assume you talk of BS2 - as you would probably have training-tracks in BS1 and btw, its everything OK with your install. Nobody has a training in BS2 - hmm, lets call it a design-flaw...well, you can always download the training-videos) A) Head over here - they will serve you well and keep you busy: KA-50 Black Shark 2 interactive Training missions B) Be happy now and welcome aboard! :) ...and maybe post some praising towards BigfootMSR in above mentioned Thread. Rusty_M Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 If It's Steam, it'll be v1.0.2. That version IIRC didn't work with the training tracks. There are many training videos here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/video/black_shark/ The manual will help somewhat in conjunction with these Here's a startup video on Youtube. Finally, the following is essential, and really got me working in BS. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2626185/ The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine! http://www.twitch.tv/rusty_the_robot https://www.youtube.com/user/RustyRobotGaming

Rusty_M Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 No problem. It's unusual for me to be able to answer questions, so I relish the chance. Usually I leave it for someone who is much more knowledgeable (almost everyone here), someone gets there first, or a combination of both :D 1 The world is going mad. Me? jacksos101 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 To get the most out of the sim you should also read the flight manual (downloadable from the Digital Combat Simulator website), having a thorough knowledge of the cockpit/panels/switches gives you a good platform onto which you can develop flying/combat techniques.
PeterP Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Flight manual can also be found in your installation directory >>> "documents" you can navigate to the manuals also via "Windows-Start"
BigfootMSR Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Personally, I highly recommend upgrading to BS2. :P Not only so you can view and play the training missions, which can be integrated into the training menu, but the graphics, and many other aspects are much better. Welcome aboard though :) DCS: A10C Warthog JTAC coordinate entry training mission http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/99424/ DCS: Blackshark 2 interactive training missions http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84612
ErichVon Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 i have dcs black shark downloaded via steam.there are no training in my versiion, where are the training missions? http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/video/bs2-training/ In Mutiplayer I fly BS2 in DCS and BS 1.0.2 I kept my desktop shortcut and play in FC2, but 1.0.2 also has no training missions. FC2 usually has more servers up and accessible for the DCS Black Shark.
