Hi there,

is the current state of the force feedback implementation final or are we to "feel" some stall effects and control stiffening at high speeds?

so long

FFB.. Anybody got it working right?

Does anyone have their FFB working right? My stick goes limp when I get into the sim... Comes back afterward.

I just added my $40 to the P-51D "Work In Progress" and flying a P-51 with a completely limp force feedback joystick is similar to... well... use your imagination. or not.

Force feedback for the A-10 in the DCS World 1.1.2.1 seems to work ok. Would it be possible to copy the code from the A-10 for now? Or are you planning something really special so I can feel the air flowing over the control surfaces?

As long FFB isn't implemented in P-51D I use this nifty tool to stiff up my stick:

>>>> Damper and friction effects in force feedback for Black Shark

jib, I did another version to see if the axes swapping is now correct and the spring stops while holding down the trim button.

If any of the axes is still inverted try to see which one, X or Y.

Remember that you have to use an actual joystick button. I mean, if you are using logitech's programming tool to send a 'T' with the trim button, my program won't catch any button press.

That same joystick button must be configured inside black shark as trim button.

Also, remember that you have to launch the program AFTER the mission is completely loaded. Or, if the program is already running, you have to select "Init DirectInput" in the Options menu to steal control of force feedback from black shark 2. But only after the mission is loaded.

PeterP thanks man works great as a patch for now...

Hopefully this can be added to > DCS World > Options > Misc > Force Feedback.
