Can anyone supply, or does anyone know a source for, the following flight management data/settings? I'm filling in the few numbers I've picked up from the tutorials so far:

1. Climbout:

Manifold pressure: 46 Hg

Engine speed: 27 RPM

Airspeed: 170kts

2. Non-combat cruise:

Manifold pressure:

Engine speed:

Airspeed:

3. Descent/final approach:

Manifold pressure:

Engine speed:

Airspeed:

Finally, what are the recommended mixture settings per altitude ASL?

Thanks, gents.

Flight Manual p. 31.

Edith: Mkay, copy&paste ;) The first value is for Low Blower mode and the second for High Blower.

Have not read the manual yet, but I use

2. Non-combat cruise:

Manifold pressure: 30"

Engine speed: 1600-2400 depending on desired altitude. Up to 2700 if alt is too high for HIGH BLOWER to maintain required MP.

Airspeed: use this settings and find it out :)

3. Descent/final approach:

Manifold pressure: 24"

Engine speed: depends on the speed, rpm set to MAX though some pilots recommend reduce it a little bit.

Airspeed: mmm... I use 130+-10 mph.

Finally, what are the recommended mixture settings per altitude ASL?

RUN :)

I kept the manifold pressure really low for my first takeoff. It doesn't seem to have any issues getting into the air!

Aye - I rarely venture above 45 inHg. All depends on weight and if you're in a hurry or not :)

Good advice once engine wear and overboost comes into play. :)

Had my first engine failure tonight. Could not see any problem but the engine just lost all power. I guess I pressured it to much. Managed to land on a farm field but ground looped when too eager with the brake :(

I realy like the FM :D

Did you mind the fuel selector? :)
