-Rudel- Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) Hi, It's not really a problem of sorts, but I am a guy in a wheel-chair. You see, I've been a quadriplegic for 2 years now. I can move my arms, but I can't use my hands. I can use my wrists to help extend my thumbs for typing though. As you can imagine, grabbing a joystick is a no go anymore  However, I found it very helpful that FSX allows a track-ball or mouse to be used as a joystck. It includded auto rudder as well when taxi-ing. I'd liked to see the mouse wheel used as a throttle control too. Could your programmers implement this task for the rest of us 'hand' challenged guys? Cheers! Nate--IRL-- Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 I've asked for it a while ago internally - no idea if or when it will turn up - however your post will strengthen my case for it :) Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

I thought I saw a picture of Matt in a wheelchair at the G3? workaround is to use PPyoj On my older machine yes.....however, PPjoy has been having issues with 64bit on my machine. But I shouldn't have to install extra drivers, turn off/on ports every time I start a sim. Its a pita. What is that? http://ppjoy.bossstation.dnsalias.org/ http://ppjoy.blogspot.com/ . . Yeah -- I know what you mean- I have wrote a batch file that does it automatically when I hit a exe. (but it isn't save to share this file as it is written especially to my system and setup.) Tailgate Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Perhaps a USB console game type controller might fit the bill?
531-Ghost Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Or perhaps a CH Products DT225 TrackBall ;) (programmable in Control Manager) :joystick:
