Teapot Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Yeah. We had a bit of an 'expose' on the news the other night, it was mainly about how IKEA products were anywhere from 20 - 50 % more expensive in Australia compared to the US and the UK. But it's right across the board ... all stuff from overseas is expensive. I'm really grateful that ED/DCS sells direct :D "A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft." 213 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 why support ubisoft in their endeavor to ruin everything they touch? they won't get a penny from me.
Teapot Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Fair enough 213, that seems to be a fairly common perception. However, the emphasis was on letting folk know that there was some stuff available at less than cost price ;o). Just in case they were interested, and not everyone might share your way of looking at things ;o). "A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft." andysim Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 UBI can only kill everything they touch. I got Anno2070 and was never able to run it from the steam client, they just kept sending automated responses to every single email I asked for help. They killed off the silent hunter series and about 100 other titles they laid hands on.
Teapot Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 Yes. I bought IL2 CLOD from STEAM and was very dissatisfied.
