I don't think so, but you can always open and edit the logbook in eg. notepad++.

I would really love to be able to import my A-10C logbook. Have some nice records and medals there that I will not like to lose.

What is the point to keep a logbook if we cannot conserve it even if we are flying the very same airplane?

How can we save and export that logbook into the new A-10C in DCS World?

Any tips would be welcomed.

Just copy the values in few entries using notepad++

I'll personally start to log from scratch once DCS World gets released. To me it is logging new sim.

Thanks for the tip. Which is the file I have to open? Where it is located?

In my case I have been flying the A-10 since the very first public Beta and for me this is just the "same aircraft" "same career" and new interface thus I would like to keep my records.

If everytime there is a simulator version change we have to start from scratch, what would be the point to keep records and logbook?

Anyway this is really a personal option and in my case I would like to keep the data.

Its not going to be a straight forward copy and paste. The logbook of DCS world is different from the previous DCS sims. Mostly that DCS World's logbook has info on all the aircraft you've flown. So you will need to copy your A-10C logbook stats from DCS A-10, directly into the A-10C section of the DCS World logbook.

The logbook is located in

C: Users\yourname\Saved Games\Title of DCS Sim\MissionEditor

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

The developers will probably tell you that you can edit the log files at your own risk.;)

yea I was messing around with this, can seem to get DCS World general tab flight hours to total up.

Aircraft will operate and fly differently in final release, so it is better to log this new flight sim from scratch IMHO. You can then brag how much you have flown with successful landings since release dates which will be comparable to other DCS World owners. For now it is beta, so keep it testing and crashing :)

The reason why I asked to start with, is I believe DCS World should be 'absorbing' my installed DCS products. I have yet to complete the campaign in A-10C, so losing my progress and stats is a nuisance I'd like to have the choice to avoid.

I suspect careful editing of the files is going to be your only option.
