PeterP Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 (edited) Shallow water doesn't match with coastline when you change the viewDx/viewDy in the "MonitorsSetup.lua". (you have to change this functions e.g to get a new center view-point and/or to align different camera view-ports). In the example above I changed "viewDy = 0;" to "viewDy = -0.1;" Edited May 26, 2012 by PeterP
Wolf Rider Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Same with the rivers, the water sits way below the land edge City Hall is easier to fight, than a boys' club - an observation :P "Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us." - Jefferson "Give a group of potheads a bunch of weed and nothing to smoke out of, and they'll quickly turn into engineers... its simply amazing." PeterP Posted May 26, 2012 Author Posted May 26, 2012 No- that the rivers are not at the same level as the ground is a limitation of current render-engine and well known to the Devs since day one. It's a absolute different chapter. Let's not mix apples with oranges. :)
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 26, 2012 ED Team Posted May 26, 2012 (edited) Confirming this is bad for me as well, when using a stacked viewport and water HIGH. My aspect ratio is 0.83333333333 as my two monitor configuration is at 1280x1536 The two viewport config was to counter the water disappearing due to the ratio under 1.0 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=86251 Tsunami 1 Tsunami 2 Edited May 26, 2012 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
