DCS world MP with only A10C

DCS world refuses to acknowledge that I have a serial for DCS world, if I try to re-activate it tells me that activation is good using my A10C code, but when I try to connect to the master sever list, it tells me I have an invalid serial.

 

How do I get past this annoying issue?

So you have activated DCSW P-51 and now you are trying to activate the A10-C module for DCSW?

 

Please clarify?

? I wasn't even asked for my A10C key...guessed it takes it from my installed A10C 1111

I was never asked to activate DCS world. It never asked and works fine from SP mode. When I try connecting to the MSL, it tells me my serial is invalid, so I tried to re-activate holding whatever button when you start DCS World and it came up with my A10C activation code and told me it was already activated. So back to MP and lo and behold, invalid serial!!!

 

NOt sure what I have to do to get it working!! HELP!!

I tried to teach my friend in multiplayer last night, a newcomer who just bought DCS A-10C... but he couldn't register his account... INVALID SERIAL!??!?!?! Something must be FUBAR-ed :music_whistling:

Did you also activate the P-51 module?

 

For me I did the following.......

 

Step 1, Purchased P-51 Beta Module and DL and install DCSW and P-51.

 

Step 2, Activate P-51 within DCSW.

 

Step 3, Download and install A10-C beta Module for DCSW.

 

Step 4, Fire up DCSW, choose A10-C Module....

 

Step 5, Activate A10-C module with the serial from A10-C WH.

 

Result.... Can fly A10-C MP or SP under DCSW

 

This worked for me. Not sure about any other install routines.

Are you logging into the correct account?

 

If you purchased through digitalcombatsimulator.com, your A-10C serial number will be linked to the account that made that purchase; that is the account the Master Server is requesting.

 

For example, if I try to use a serial number linked to me, but use the login "MickeyMouse" on the Master Server, it will give exactly that error: Mickey Mouse is not the one with the license, I am. ;)

For license keys purchased through other venues, you need to use the Master Server account that you assigned it to the first time you used the Master Server.

I am logging in with the same account that I fly A10C vanilla with, same username same password.

 

I don't have P51. I have A10C, Black Shark and Black Shark 2 (upgrade).

 

So I can't see why I'm having an issue.

 

In DCS World, I have the A10 theme on, the Black Shark 2 has a dollar sign as I can't install the module, due to the upgrade module not being ready yet. The A10C is good to go and fly, the SU26 is good to go and Fly, the P51 has a dollar sign as I haven't bought it.

 

When I go to MP, I try to logon and get the Invalid serial.............

Im waiting three days already with a ticket about the same issue... bought a A-10C serial for a friend an it gives him back INVALID SERIAL in multiplayer, even though this serial was not yet used by any account... we tried even with my account which bought the serial and it stills says INVALID SERIAL... bah...
