DINPUT8.dll

I hope someone technical can assist. I have BS2, A10-C, & World installed under Windows7 64 bit. All were working fine until I went on holiday for 2 weeks. On return 14 Windows updates! Now none of the programs mentioned will start & I get a message "Program Can't start because DINPUT8.dll is missing from the computer. Please reinstall."

Can anyone explain what has happened & if I have to reinstall all the programs or just one.

First try reinstall of DX9 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109...

If that doesn't help check Video Card Driver. There was an optional Update of the NVIDIA Drivers in the Windows Update, lately!:D

 

I mean: eventually do a rollback to older drivers.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have now tried reinstalling an earlier video driver & installing the suggested DX9. I have also reinstalled World but still no joy. Still getting the message DINPUT8.dll missing from the computer.

Any more ideas?
