Brisse Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 In DCSA10 there might be a little problem with the brakes locking but in DCS world its kind of solved. Guess they don't get interpreted as sliders any more but not sure. Have fun with them, good choice! :thumbup: Thanks! I uninstalled DCSA10 a while ago and is using DCSWorld. Havent seen any problems yet. I feel so lucky becouse I ordered them the week before the manufacturer decided to stop making them. Maybe I have the last SIMPED's ever to be made?

Lucky us then! (for those who don't have one yet) I tried many pedals but those are by far my favorite. 4790K@4,6Ghz | EVGA Z97 Classified | 32GB @ 2400Mhz | Titan X hydro copper| SSD 850 PRO ____________________________________ Moments in DCS: --> https://www.youtube.com/user/weltensegLA --> WELD's cockpit: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92274
Yurgon Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Holy crap, I was thinking of getting the USB version so I wouldn't need to keep the Cougar base near my desk for all eternity. Simpeds with the Cougar-connector are by faaar the best pedals I ever had (started with Thrustmaster RCS, switched to Saitek for a while until I finally got the Simpeds). I think I'll drop Gunter a note and check if there's something left on stock. Back on topic (sort of): I figured I had it backwards, but every time I try it the correct way, I get confused and end up turning the wrong way, then tying too hard to get back to where I wanted to go. I guess so long as it works for me, no harm. When I started PC gaming, I had the mouse Y axis inverted and had a set of rather custom keys I used for movement. At some point in time I decided to switch to WASD and also quit inverting the mouse. The transition was tough the first couple of days but after just two weeks it felt pretty natural. IMO you should just get used to doing it the right way. :-) But hey, guys. The reason for my initial post was I need you to convince me to go and buy some pedals. Please just tell me something like "you can't live without them" so I can go out and get some pedals!!! :joystick: Obviously you made your choice. And let me tell you it's a very good one! :-)

Then again, he's probably enjoying a well deserved weekend. :-) I've had mine for two days now. Can't live without them :) That's exactly what I would have told you if I'd seen this thread a few days earlier. :pilotfly:
Weltensegler Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 When I started PC gaming, I had the mouse Y axis inverted I still have that in all games! :) Since I am a simmer since childhood I need to pull to look up...cant get used to anything else. Only thing I have not inverted is target designators etc :D 4790K@4,6Ghz | EVGA Z97 Classified | 32GB @ 2400Mhz | Titan X hydro copper| SSD 850 PRO ____________________________________ Moments in DCS: --> https://www.youtube.com/user/weltensegLA --> WELD's cockpit: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92274
