GunnDawg Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I am using DCS World to launch and play the P-51D Beta and I noticed at the bottom it shows the KA-50, A-10C, SU-25T, and P-51D as icons. Above the KA-50 and the A-10C there are dollar signs and when clicked there is a button to buy them. I already own both of the products with dollar signs ($) above them but DCS World doesnt recognize that?
cichlidfan Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Have you installed them, into DCS World? I am guessing, no. ;) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! PeterP Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 (edited) DCS:Warthog 1.1.1.1 don't tells a other program if it is there or not - also: DCS:World isn't asking what you have installed before.... So, when you have installed A-10C_1.1.2.1_EN.exe on you DCS:World installation... (go to the bottom of the page for the download - keep in mind it is all still beta state) ...Just run a mission piloting the A-10C - than you will be asked for a activation. (@ cichildfan : Yes - I'm playing van-halen again this night for a very special person :) ... have to go up in 1 hour and 26 Min... :D) Edited July 10, 2012 by PeterP

Also do I need to reinstall all my games into DCS World now? I am confused.

PeterP Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 (edited) Alright I downloaded that. Do I just install it into DCS World or what? Do I need to reinstall all my modules ? Al-right - did you clicked the EXE with administrative rights?! What does the installation GUI say/ask? Which modules you have downloaded/installed for DCS:World 1.1.2.1 up to now ? PeterP Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Than nothing should be wrong and everything is as it should. Al-right - did you clicked the EXE with administrative rights?! What does the installation GUI say/ask? Which modules you have downloaded/installed for DCS:World 1.1.2.1 up to now ?
GunnDawg Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Indeed. Everything seems to be displaying and working as should. Thank you guys.
JCamel Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) I downloaded 1.2 last night. The '$' symbol dissappeared in DCS World and I could run the missions. This morning the $ symbol is back and I can't run it even though the files are still all present???
