red2112 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Anyone have the same problem? In DCSW 1.2, BS2, I cannot release the parking brake, so I can taxi... (not from my joy or keyboard input) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Slap_Chop Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Have you tried Left shift and W key Red ? Goto F2 view mode and watch the front wheel. Try moving ahead to see that it is free. I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy and I've had both. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ShuRugal Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 also, check under axis commands and see if you have anything mapped to the wheel brake axis. if you do, that could be your problem, parking brake is released, but wheel brake is still set because of position of input for that channel.
KosPilot Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 -and you may have to invert the axis input curve if using pedals.
effte Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 If you have Saitek pedals and the brakes stay on, check the A-10 FAQ. ----- Introduction to UTM/MGRS - Trying to get your head around what trim is, how it works and how to use it? - DCS helos vs the real world.
