danielsm79 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Hola I have a question, how can I enable the dynamisc shadows in BS 2?, because the check where I will active it is disable, I hope can help me, thank you My pc is a quadcore, 8gb ram, gtx460, W7 32bits
sobek Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Sorry, but that option is not available on 32bit operating systems due to their small memory adress space. I hope you are aware that you current operating system can only use some 3 odd gigabytes of the memory you have installed. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Eddie Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 If you mean cockpit shadows, you can't. Cockpit shadows and other aspects of the higher graphics settings are only available in 64 bit operating systems.

Some graphics options were limited or locked out in the 32bit version due to the performance impact on such systems. I don't recall where but it is possible to force them on by edit a lua file. PeterP Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) It's a 64bit only setting. ...there is a workaround - but don't be upset if your game will start to crash on a frequently basis - or even don't start at all. Have a look here to get a good guess what to do: This instruction is not up to date -but it will work in 1.2.0 if you find the appropriate files. NO HDR and High settings in patch 1.0.0.9 :D BTW: 8GB ram in a 32bit system??? - Why ? ...because it is Cheap? Or you doing so much multitasking and having so much programs open at once so you can use it all? Serious : Get a 64bit OS to have some use of it. __________________________ Edit: Hello danielsm79, I just looked at your post-count and your join-date.
