marcos Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Can this be done? The Coolie Down Short didn't seem to work but the Long command still seemed to provide a glance after the Left MFCD was killed by an M163.MFCD.trk
PlainSight Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Why swapping, just hold bottom bezel button on working MFD, then paste whatever function you need to display there. 1 [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

marcos Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 No. Should it even provide a glance then?
TheHashWeasel Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I had no idea this was possible. Having one of my MFCDs go down is pretty common and this changes everything! Have some rep!
Eddie Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Should it even provide a glance then? It depends what you mean by glance. If you are referring to either the DSMS or MSG quick look functions (coolie hat down and coolie hat up receptively), then the answer is yes and no. With only one functioning MFCD half of the DSMS quick look will be displayed (remember DSMS quick look displays DSMS data on both MFCDs), as the MSG quick look is only displayed on the left MFCD then it will only be available if the left MFCD is functional.

I discovered it when i needed to reload DSMS after rearming, where you need to bring up load page. Looks like no one RTFM  [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Looks like no one RTFM  In my defense I did know about the load page for re-arming and such! It's just.. y'know, panic tends to set in after a manpad puts a rocket up your... exhaust pipe. :music_whistling:
badger66 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Hold down MSG key , then select which MFD function you require from the list from OSB16 to 29 .
aaron886 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Mash Ctrl-E repeatedly until your MFCDs look right. :D 2
