SharpeXB Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 On the MP servers there are numbers like 85.25.100.912:10308 Are these teamspeak addresses? I try connecting to them but it always fails i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
Supersheep Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Judging from the port number, that's the DCS server IP for people who want to/have to connect directly to the server because of this 1.2.0 connection issue. Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
SharpeXB Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 I have teamspeak but cannot figure how it works i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
Eihort Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 TS Server addresses are usually buried in the mission briefs or labled specifically as 'TS xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx' in the server name.
Hamblue Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Judging from the port number, that's the DCS server IP for people who want to/have to connect directly to the server because of this 1.2.0 connection issue. Super- Is the IP connect help with the occassional crash issue? Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. KLR Rico Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 It's the game server IP, but it doesn't help with the crash if you need to log onto the server list to see it. :D Although, I do wish more people put the TS server info in the server name. My MP instance of DCS crashes 99% of the time when I alt-tab out of it to setup the TS server, so it would be easier to get the info put in before I joined. Well, at least it would save the time of joining twice. i5-4670K@4.5GHz / 16 GB RAM / SSD / GTX1080 Rift CV1 / G-seat / modded FFB HOTAS
Supersheep Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Log in the usual way, write it down, restart DCS and to it the workaround-way. And, maybe, focus on the few dedicated servers out there :smartass: Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
