Graphics settings

just getting my new PC set up - what graphics options should I set in my Nvidia control panel? I have an EVGA Nvidia GTX 670

pick a res and start on high ck fps ,and go from there..:thumbup:

Antialiasing FXAA - OFF

Antialising Gamma - OFF

Antialiasing Mode - Enhance or Application Contolled

Antialiasing Setting - 4x (if using Enhance the Application Setting)

Antaliasing Transparency - 4x (Supersample)

Cuda

Maximum Pre-rendered Frames - Use application setting or 1

Multi display/ mixed GPU accel - (set as per using single or multiple monitors)

Power Management mode - Maximum Performance

Texture Filtering - OFF

Texture Filtering negative LoD bias - Clamp

Texture Filtering quality - High Quality

Texture Filtering trilinear optimisation - (will be greyed out)

Threaded Optimisation - OFF

Triple Buffering - ON (fwiw)

Texture Filtering anisotropic filter optimisation - OFF

Vertical Sync - Use application Setting

Wolf Rider, I've tried those settings out but, unfortunately, I still have the same issue :/

don't forget to add... system hardware/ op_sys/ specs, World installation path etc

Ah sorry, my mistake. My specs:

 

Intel i7-2600K

Asus Maximus 1155 Extreme IV Rev 3

EVGA Nvidia GTX 670 (2GB)

16 GB Corsair Vengeance (1600 Mhz) RAM

 

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

 

I'm seeing some kinda of horizontal lines going across the screen in game and they moving up and down. It doesn't look like a tear caused by Vsync.... These lines are very, very faint. They are always there, but they are more obvious against a dark back ground.

Hmmm...

 

Is there another system you could try your 670 in? at least to try and isolate if the problem is related to your 670.

Unfortunately there isn't. I'll try to figure it out and see what I can do. Might try changing my drivers to see if that fixes it

I've tried that too, unfortunately. (Infact I tried several combinations).

 

Vsync on in game

Vysnc off in game

Vysnc on in NVidia control panel etc...

 

I'll have to keep messing around when I get home on Wednesday
