Deadman Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 More than likely the switch will work easily for you. Though I don't know whos Fuel panel you will use. I did not see any dimensions on the Pep boy switch here They are for the real MS-25089-3G-1 located in my list here http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1558830&postcount=390 OVERALL LENGTH 1.500 INCHES NOMINAL OVERALL WIDTH 0.688 INCHES NOMINAL OVERALL HEIGHT 0.688 INCHES NOMINAL https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Mike Powell Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I went to Pep Boys and bought a pull switch to get a bit more detail about it. I made some measurements and took some pictures. These are posted on my site (www.mikesflightdeck.com) in the 21 Oct 2012 entry. Bottom line: A medium quality switch that should work well in a simulated fuel panel. 0utLAW Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 thanks Mike for your input. I have three of them now and I'm waiting for them to restock so I can pick up one more for my fuel panel. :) i7-8700k 3.70mhz|64GB DDR4 G.SKILL Ripjaw V 3200|ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 8G GDDR6|AsRockZ390 Extreme4|2 Samsung 870QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860 QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860EVO 500GB|Corsair 750D|Corsair H-100i|Corsair AX750|LG 34GN850-B|Acer UT241Y|TM Cougar MFDs| Buddyfox UFC|TM Warthog HOTAS(Modified Spring/Slew Control Stick, Upgraded PCB, Stick Extension)|Saitek Combat Pedals|Corsair Nightsword|Corsair K70|TrackIR5|Custom A-10C Panels|
Gadroc Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Thanks Mike. Saved me a trip across town to check the dimensions!
0utLAW Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 I picked up the extra switch I needed for the fuel panel(4) and an additional 3 for the fire extinguisher T handles. I will be making a housing to go around the knob of the switch that will have yellow LEDs. :) i7-8700k 3.70mhz|64GB DDR4 G.SKILL Ripjaw V 3200|ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 8G GDDR6|AsRockZ390 Extreme4|2 Samsung 870QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860 QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860EVO 500GB|Corsair 750D|Corsair H-100i|Corsair AX750|LG 34GN850-B|Acer UT241Y|TM Cougar MFDs| Buddyfox UFC|TM Warthog HOTAS(Modified Spring/Slew Control Stick, Upgraded PCB, Stick Extension)|Saitek Combat Pedals|Corsair Nightsword|Corsair K70|TrackIR5|Custom A-10C Panels|
