As an other example, to specify the type of bomb you could call PAVEWAY for dropping a GBU-12. THUNDER--Informative call 1 minute prior to air-to-surface weapons impact. Used in CAS WINCHESTER--No ordnance remaining, except for guns. MILLER TIME--Informative call indicating completion of air-to-ground ordnance delivery. Generally used by the last striker in conjunction with a pre-coordinated egress plan MAGNUM (System/Location)--Launch of friendly ant radiation missile (ARM) LASER ON--Directive or informative call to start laser designation HIT(S)-- 1. (A/A) Momentary radar returns in search 2. Indicates approximate target altitude (e.g., GROUP BULLSEYE 360/10, HITS 15,000 FEET) 3. (A/G) Weapons impact within lethal distance CLEARED HOT--Ordnance release is authorized ATTACKING--Indicates A/S attack on a specific ground target IN--Informative call indicating a turn to a hot aspect relative to a threat. Opposite of OUT. OFF (w/Direction)--Informative call indicating attack is terminated and maneuvering to the indicated direction OFFSET (w/Direction)--Informative call indicating maneuver in a specified direction with reference to the target ON STATION--Informative call that unit/aircraft has reached assigned station OUT (w/Direction)--Informative call indicating a turn to a cold aspect relative to the threat.
