Robertemcsqd Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) DCS World auto-updated from v1.2.2.7122 to v1.2.2.7286 with no problem, but when I try to download the A-10c module v1.2.2.7286 that goes with that version of DCS World, I get "The Setup Files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." I redownloaded many times and it still says the same message. Help? I've tried different browsers, Google Crome, Mozzilla, MSN, AOL, Verizon. Used all file protocols: FTP USA, Germany; HTTP USA, Germany and I still keep getting the same error message. Would greatly appreciate some help. Thank you for your time. Lange_666 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 If you had the A-10C module already installed in v1.2.2.7122 then there is no need to get the new A-10C v1.2.2.7286 module since the autoupdater does that for you. If you didn't install the A-10C module yet, just be patiences a bit since there seems to be a bug in the updater which results in telling you you have corrupted files. New updater should be released today (they hope). http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=97527 Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. ED Team c0ff Posted November 16, 2012 ED Team Posted November 16, 2012 there seems to be a bug in the updater which results in telling you you have corrupted files. Updater has nothing to do with this issue. It's the module installer which got corrupted. Dmitry S. Lange_666 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Fine you set that straight. SUBS17 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I had the same problem so I reinstalled DCS World, then installed the A-10C module prior to starting DCS and letting the Auto-updater patch it. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Herodotus Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I had the same problem so I reinstalled DCS World, then installed the A-10C module prior to starting DCS and letting the Auto-updater patch it. Tried doing that, but the setup file is apparently still corrupted. The "Ka-50" and "CA" Modules installed just fine (after updating "DCS WORLD", so that debunks that idea), but the "A-10C" setup file IS corrupted, no matter how you try to install it, and no matter which site or torrent it's downloaded from.!
SUBS17 Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Its the patch version thats blocking it! You have to uninstall DCS World and reinstall everything before starting up DCS World so that the patch doesn't conflict with the module from what I've seen with it. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
