maturin Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Whenever I try to strafe a target using the gunpods, autopilot and shkval, I CTD. The crash occurs the instant I press the trigger. I can't provide a track because it doesn't record when I CTD, but it is a textbook strafing arrangement for practicing with the pods. maturin Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Actually, they crash in normal mode as well. I hadn't even depressed them yet.
ED Team USSR_Rik Posted November 27, 2012 ED Team Posted November 27, 2012 Please attach your mission (or better - track stopped before crash) and provide additional information as described here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1072529&postcount=1 Men may keep a sort of level of good, but no man has ever been able to keep on one level of evil. That road goes down and down. Можно держаться на одном уровне добра, но никому и никогда не удавалось удержаться на одном уровне зла. Эта дорога ведёт вниз и вниз. G.K. maturin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 I have no mission or track to upload because it would be a waste of time. The CTD occurs in all missions, even a blank map with a single Su-25T, where the only (and I mean only) buttons I press are 7, C, Ctrl-Space, Ctrl-Space, Spacebar. The bare minimum to fire the four pods. You already have the crash logs, so here's me.log. 00000.000 INFO VFS: Using 'Saved Games': "C:\Users\Michael\Saved Games" 00000.002 INFO LAUNCHER: Launch command: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\dcs.exe --noreplay --trackfile "C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\LastMissionTrack.trk" "C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\tempMission.miz" 00226.930 UNKNOWN main: locale: en EN 00227.620 UNKNOWN main: me_db_api creation started 00234.319 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./mods/aircrafts/Su-25T/entry.lua 00234.358 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./DemoMods/tech/CombinedArms/entry.lua 00234.359 ERROR EDCORE: can't open MO-file C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\DemoMods\tech\CombinedArms\l10n\en\LC_MESSAGES\messages.mo 00234.370 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./DemoMods/aircrafts/A-10C/entry.lua 00234.370 ERROR EDCORE: can't open MO-file C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\DemoMods\aircrafts\A-10C\l10n\en\LC_MESSAGES\messages.mo 00234.382 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./DemoMods/aircrafts/Flaming Cliffs/entry.lua 00234.382 ERROR EDCORE: can't open MO-file C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\DemoMods\aircrafts\Flaming Cliffs\l10n\en\LC_MESSAGES\messages.mo 00234.394 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./DemoMods/aircrafts/Ka-50/entry.lua 00234.394 ERROR EDCORE: can't open MO-file C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\DemoMods\aircrafts\Ka-50\l10n\en\LC_MESSAGES\messages.mo 00234.410 UNKNOWN main: MOD loading: ./DemoMods/aircrafts/P-51D/entry.lua 00234.410 ERROR EDCORE: can't open MO-file C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\DemoMods\aircrafts\P-51D\l10n\en\LC_MESSAGES\messages.mo 00234.411 UNKNOWN main: PLUGINS START------------------------------------------------- 00234.411 UNKNOWN main: plugin: Su-25T by Eagle Dynamics applied 00234.429 UNKNOWN main: plugin: Combined Arms by Eagle Dynamics applied 00234.429 UNKNOWN main: plugin: A-10C Warthog by Eagle Dynamics applied 00234.430 UNKNOWN main: plugin: Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics applied 00234.430 UNKNOWN main: plugin: Ka-50 Black Shark by Eagle Dynamics applied 00234.430 UNKNOWN main: plugin: P-51D Mustang by Eagle Dynamics applied 00234.432 UNKNOWN main: PLUGINS DONE-------------------------------------------------- 00234.719 UNKNOWN main: ./MissionEditor/data/scripts/unitsclasses.lua loaded 00234.778 UNKNOWN main: ./MissionEditor/data/NewMap/classifier.lua loaded 00234.889 UNKNOWN main: me_db_api creation complete 00235.979 INFO EDCORE: createSerialQueue IOQueue 00239.402 UNKNOWN main: options data successfully loaded 00254.500 ERROR DXGUI_EDGE_RENDER: Cannot load texture '' 00255.611 INFO SOUND: loaded 499 sdefs from ".\sounds\sdef" 00255.661 INFO SOUND: XAudio2: Using device ID:'{0.0.0.00000000}.{09d2aea3-492e-4d8f-a7ef-cdf20eedf982}' Name:'Speakers (SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio)', channels: 2 00255.661 INFO SOUND: XAudio2: channel layout: Headphones/Stereo 00256.238 WARNING DXGUI: Invalid align type! 00266.052 WARNING LOG: 3 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00266.052 UNKNOWN main: Mission C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\tempMission.miz loaded 00266.607 UNKNOWN main: checking introduction C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\tempMission.miz 00266.608 UNKNOWN main: introduction NOT found 00278.037 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_infrared.lua 00278.106 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_land.lua 00278.119 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_landheight.lua 00278.125 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_lights.lua 00278.129 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_map.lua 00278.225 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_mfd.lua 00278.230 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/land3.1.lua 00278.236 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: lma: .///Bazar/Graphics/lma/edge_shelf.lua 00278.695 UNKNOWN main: 4 15 47 4 00279.092 WARNING LOG: 13 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00279.092 UNKNOWN main: Mission C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\New Mission.miz loaded 00279.106 UNKNOWN main: 4 15 47 4 00285.046 WARNING LOG: 13 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00285.046 UNKNOWN main: turning log false 00285.226 INFO SOUND: detaching sdef path ".\sounds\sdef\"

Please find in FAQ solution for launch in 32-bit OS. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1084420&postcount=8 Already did that. If I didn't the game wouldn't even run. (You guys should really put 64 bit in the Minimum Requirements)
ED Team USSR_Rik Posted November 29, 2012 ED Team Posted November 29, 2012 Already did that. If I didn't the game wouldn't even run. (You guys should really put 64 bit in the Minimum Requirements)Unfortunately, no other ways for 32-bit OS: minimum graphic settings, very simple missions and /3G key. And no guarantee for any mission even in this case. Men may keep a sort of level of good, but no man has ever been able to keep on one level of evil. That road goes down and down. maturin Posted November 29, 2012 Author Posted November 29, 2012 With respect, that's not an answer that has anything to do with gunpods. There is no possible reason for one simple weapon out of dozens to require gigabytes of RAM. If so, it's a glitch.

joey45 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Just tried it and no crash with me... done in manual mode.. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
