walker450 Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 When refueling in Lock On (I am using FC2 specifically), and the tanks become fuel, how do I properly disconnect? I want to gracefully breakaway.... I'm flying the SU-33.... and it seems to just stay there on autopilot trying to refuel after it is already full. I have to push the nose down real hard and it will finally go down... I did not see a description in the FC2 manual. Speedpad for Inputs | My Simpit | Joystick Damper Mod
Cali Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Have you tried dropping the throttle? I know FC2 had a issues with the jet going into autopilot, hopefully that is fixed. Can anyone tell me if the mp seeing the refueling probe/hoses is still a problem. In FC2, you couldn't see it until you were almost connected. Things like that amaze me when it works so great in F4/BMS....which is older then FC2. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED

That should allow you to ease away. walker450 Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Thanks guys. I will try throttling back only... and having more patience to see what it does. I will also try disengaging the autopilot, but I'm pretty sure I have tried it without success. Maybe I need to update my FC2... I'm bad about ignoring the patches lol. Totally my fault! When I get back home I'll see what version I am running. I am waiting for FC3 final to be released before I download. However, I wanted to practice in FC2 in preparation for 3. Cali Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I only refueled in the 33 in FC2 and had no issues with it. I tried in the F-15 and the freaking autopilot always made me run into the tanker, so I stopped refueling in the 15. It's a shame that some of those things haven't been fixed and especially when they work so well in other older games. I can't buy FC3 until April, so I hope it's final by then or they get a lot of these bugs squashed. I'm keeping a eye on viper's list and what people are saying. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
