Cookie Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I'm still having issues with TrackIR 5 and my GTX 680 not running perfectly fluid together. Can you elaborate on that? I´m running the same combo without any problems, so maybe we can compare notes or something. - Two miles of road lead nowhere, two miles of runway lead everywhere - Click here for system specs
dburne Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Well I am running the 5.1.300 software and decided to give this a try. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. First it installed 64 bit usb drivers, then when it came to the sofware install screen, I could not select " next" to continue on with installation. I waited a bit, still could not select it. Tried to cancel, and it was unresponsive to that as well. I ended up having to close the installation program from task manager to get out of it. My 5.1.300 version appears to be working ok, but I wonder about those 64 bit usb drivers the new version installed at first, if that will cause me any issue. Never had any problem installing their software before... dburne Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 When panning with the Trackir 5, the graphics will jitter across the screen sometimes. Are you running with vsync on? If not, try enabling it in the graphic options in the sim. Cookie Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Would have been my first guess as well. Switching it off does give me that jitter you are talking about, when switching it on everything is smooth as buttter. I run the 306.97 drivers straight from NVIDIA, TrackIR runs with 5.13 and ProClip.
