Hello gentlemen

That's my doubt, will be a good investment update to an Ivy Bridge or should I wait for Haswell?

haswell will not be here till next summer, spring the earliest. so unless you use sandy bridge now i would not wait with the upgrade (i assume your sig is true).

for me the upgrade threshold is about 2 years on a system. well unless something special happens like a very good sale , after a year and a half on 2500K i just picked up z77+3570K :)

(had a good home to put the sandy bridge to use)

Anton.

Thanks for your advice guys, I really appreciate all comments

I definitively will go for Ivy Bridge, but will wait a couple of weeks, maybe I can find a special offer due to christmas.

Thanks again and have a nice day.
