Col. Clark GRUNT Half Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) [solved] see post #3 and #5 I bought the non-russian version of FC3 but activated "Russian Cockpit" because the SU-25 is a cold war Russian airplane. I now have: English COMs, cyrillic imagery of that cockpit but the EKRAN and the Beryoza is in Latin letters/English. I fear to install FC2 mod to get Russian again. I request to change that to Russian again or help me do redesign it, so it will be fixed in the next patch. Precisely: - Russian Radio COMS (audio/menus?) - Russian symbology/typography in RWR/SPO Beryoza - Russian symbology/typography in EKRAN (damage info screen) Thanks in advance! joey45 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 indeed it would be nice to have RUS cockpit in a RUS plane. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Mustang Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) For now you can use this mod if you wish http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96829 all the pits are in russian, along with other enhancements. (P.S these textures will be added in a future DCSW autoupdate/installer)) Edited December 18, 2012 by Mustang
159th_Falcon Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 What if this gets updated whit the auto-updater but i have this mod installed? Mustang Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 What if this gets updated whit the auto-updater but i have this mod installed? Will i have to remove the mod or will the auto-updater just do its thing? Auto updater will either remove the file to a backup folder and replace it with its own, or it might ignore it since it'll be the exact same file.
159th_Falcon Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 thank you for the clarification. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)

kobac Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 I don't see this your great correction, Mustang, entered in the preliminary DCS 1.2.3. list. It would be a pity if it is not inserted in the next update. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
