Blooze Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I have a track ir 4 and am using the hat clip. It sticks at times like micro freezes and generally it is inconsistant in it's behavior. For those of you who have used both the hat clip and TrackClip Pro would the TrackClip Pro solve these kind of problems? Is it worth the money and if so.....why? Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Conure Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 that's odd - are you sure your camera lens is clean and has a good view of your clip? Intel i7 6700k, Asus GTX1070, 16gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Rudder Pedals, Samsung Evo 850 SSD @ 500GB * 2, TrackIR 5 and 27" monitor running at 2560 * 1440, Windows 10.
Conure Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Also something that screws up mine (though I do wear the pro clip with ti5) is reflections/sunlight behind me. It works best in a dark room (though a lit room is absolutely fine, as long as there isnt direct sunlight/lights behind you) I expect the pro clip is a fair bit better though, as it actually emits ir light as opposed to simply reflecting it. Panthro Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 any IR can mess things up even candles and refracted light from reflections can do it. All that said I prefer the track clip pro ..... when its not braking!! [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86362_2.gif[/sIGPIC]

Agreed, I pretty much have to use the TCP instead of the hat clip when playing DCS A10 and wanting to use all the clickable bits and bobs. The hat is just too inaccurate. They are very fragile though and over priced, still no wireless version either. Specs: GA-Z87X-UD3H, i7-4770k, 16GB, RTX2060, SB AE-5, 750watt Corsair PSU, X52, Track IR4, Win10x64. Lange_666 Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 They are very fragile though and over priced, still no wireless version either. About time they offer one. I'm holding back on a TCP because it has a (another) wire. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
