I figured out how to assign a button for a glance in the left and right mirror, "left mirror on" and "right mirror on", respectively. But I can't find the corresponding option for the top, i.e. rear-view mirror.:helpsmilie:

If you can afford it, consider getting trackir.

Once you try it you won't go back

Hi Hamblue,

Already have trackIR, and love it. However, sometimes a quick glance in the mirror can also be useful. In any case, I am wondering why there is a left and right mirror on, but no corresponding command for the top mirror (as far as I can see)???

Don't know.

Can you by any chance see the middle mirror off to the side when looking at one of the others?

I agree, that's exactly the reason why I asked for "glance" commands. By assigning a key to "left mirror on" or "right mirror on", the mirrors appear only as long as you press those keys. At all times when those keys are not pressed, the mirrors are folded away, and don't impact the FPS. The mustang has a similar command, called "mirror glance" or something like that. In other words, what I am looking for is the keyboard command (or rather the line in the controlls menu that allows me to assign a key to that function) that turns on the top mirror and moves the pilots head position into a position ideal for viewing the rear-view mirror, but only for as long as the key is pressed. That is, I am looking for the analog of the P51 "mirror glance" option.
