You need turn off/on "stealthy mode" number of times, every time reloading YouTube page. At least it worked for me.

I don't want you guys to think it's some awesome kick ass video..... it's "okay". I've been learning to NOT use labels as a crutch and this was a action packed session that I thought was fun. Hopefully I can get some of my first person shooter friends to watch and inspire them to want DCS :D

Yes, I'm trying. Seems like when I don't pull high G's I tend to get missiles up my tail pipe. I've read a lot about air combat so I have a little knowledge on how I should fly.... but using that knowledge on the fly in a combat situation is easier said than done!! for me anyway. Practice practice practice.

 

I really wish there was a larger online community with DCS FC3. It would be great to fly against some real people so I could really know just how bad I am!! :megalol::lol: I've read on here about people saying that the AI is pretty easy..... with no labels and no outside views I find them pretty challenging on high skill. Not too challenging, but challenging enough for me. I'm sure (or I hope) that will change as I get better.

Great vid!, The flight dynamics of A2A missiles were improved in FC3, so currently is more difficult to shoot down a bandit..

I've read (studied) In Pursuit by Johan Kylander multiple times...

And there was another .pdf version of a book written by a real WW2 pilot that had cartoon illistrations that was awesome. I thought I had it saved somewhere but I can't find it and I can't remember the name. Most of my reading / studying was based around ww2 aircraft.

It takes time and lots of practice, keep trying. Hopefully once multiplayer is more stable you'll see more people online.
