I played occasionally with my wife portal 2 co-op mode during the last year ...

So look what I got from her this X-Mas :

(Believe me : I totally freaked out ! -in a positive way. The deeper meaning behind it is explained in posting #6)

It's made out a single block duraluminium.

It's made with a 5-axis CNC machine - there is only one of it's kind - and it is only made for me .

What does this has to do with simulation, you may ask?

-I will tell you:

The Husband of a work-mate of my wife made this "companion cube" and works with CNC for a living.

...and my wife has also arranged a meeting with him so I can introduce him to my hobby (flight simulation) , and he will help me with some projects I have in mind.

(Projects like this: Force-Trim Rudder)

:D

Rubik's cube for Chuck Norris...

Ніщо так сильно не ранить мозок, як уламки скла від розбитих рожевих окулярів

There is nothing so hurtful for the brain as splinters of broken rose-coloured spectacles.

Ничто так сильно не ранит мозг, как осколки стекла от разбитых розовых очков (С) Me

Haha!:D

Of course it's not only a piece of aluminium and/or a memory how we played portal together...

...we got parents this year. - and I think that this should be also a reminder that I have to really care for something...

(Gosh! :) - someone please write a mathematical formula that can explain me female psychology :D)
