carlos2912 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Hi, my question is very basic, including all the official DLC'S and the Flaming Cliffs (1/2/3) (the flaming cliffs is the only official modiffication that works with DCS World yep? Besides the A-10 ( WARTHOG), KA-50(BLACK SHARK1/2) MUSTANG (WWII DLC) and some tanks (COMBINED ARMS), is there any other Aircraft that i can controll? What aircraft can i controll in FC(1/2/3) and DCS World? Thanks xD! :joystick:
Cali Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 If you buy FC3 you can control F-15C A-10A Mig-29A Mig-29G Mig-29S Su-25 Su-27S Su-33 1 i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
badger66 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 DCS world will be just the SU-25T ..... if you buy FC3 , you get the rest in the above post . But you also will need a copy of the original lock on DVD ., to activate FC3 , as FC3 is an add on . Hope this helps . 1
Rongor Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) (the flaming cliffs is the only official modiffication that works with DCS World yep?DCS World is a simulator basis for in-deep simulated modules of single high fidelity built sim-aircrafts. There is only three at the moment, A10C, Ka-50 and the P-51. Future models are in the development process, not only by ED but also by 3rd party developers. They all will be "plug-ins" (called DCS:modules) of DCS World. ED went into the flight simulation business several years ago with the Flaming Cliffs series, an addon for Ubisofts "Lock On". The aircraft simulated within are rather simple and by far not as complex as the present DCS:modules for DCS World. FC3 is nothing else as an import of the older Lock On Flaming Cliffs addon into the DCS World. Not only do you require ubisofts Lock On installment for that, FC3 aircraft also don't play in the same league of high quality simulated aircraft like the DCS:modules. FC3 is not a DCS:module, although it is a module that works within DCS world. Edited January 13, 2013 by Rongor 1

IF i play in a server i'll only see these 3 aircrafts? Or we actually can play in a server with those aircrafts: P-51 A-10 KA-50 SU-25T F-15C A-10A Mig-29A Mig-29G Mig-29S Su-25 Su-27S Su-33 only those? But thank you a lot guys! BigfootMSR Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 As far as the types of aircrafts flyable when you join a server, that depends entirely on the map that was designed and running on that server. If you buy the FC3 only, you can not fly the a-10C, ka-50, p-51. Those are seperate modules you have to buy. Those 3 modules are at a MUCH higher depth and fidelity than the aircrafts in FC3. I believe, and I could be wrong, that the a10 in FC3 is the A-10A. Now that all that has been said, To clarify. It is possible to play FC3 with the other aircrafts. Thats the beauty of World. You just have to find a server that is playing a map with FC3 slots available. Krebs20 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 You will always be allowed to join a server even if you do not own any of the flyable aircraft. If you only owned combined arms, you could drive tanks if the server let you. While everyone else tried to bomb you. Simply put. You can fly only what you own. You can fly with everyone. BigfootMSR Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Thanks Krebs, That was exactly what I was trying to convey.
