Luzifer Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 None that I know of (other than the workaround of slightly stepping on the pedals to get the brake unstuck). But I haven't been looking hard either. I don't even know if the pedals use a Saitek driver or the standard Windows one and who to blame. All I know is that no matter how hard I tried to trigger the problem, they work flawlessly in Linux, so the hardware is fine and Windows software is to blame.
FreeFall Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 When I noticed this problem with my Saitek Combat pedals (long time ago), the problem was only with DCS A-10C. Within Windows 7 Game Controllers there was no problem with toebrakes.

dburne Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Hmm, I have not seen this issue yet with my Combat Pedals and A-10C. but also am still just going through the learning stages. I have been practising my ramp starts, taxi and takeoffs, have certainly used the toe brakes a little during this but yet to experience this issue. wolle Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I have Saitek pro pedals. Is it worth updating to the combat pedals? I generally find that the sensitivity of my pedals is insufficient for the P51D. Would the combat pedals work better? I think that the electronics and stuff inside both Combat- and Pro Flight Rudder Pedals are the same, but physically the foot pedals themselves are different. So, I suppose the sensitivity is the same?
Tallon Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I have the CH pro pedals - and they work great. I've had them about a year, no problems. I agree with some of the others here that say they are a bit narrow, but I have no problem using them at all. The only time they really got to be annoying is when I was using the warthog center-mounted.
luza Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Thanks for your replies regarding my issue! Will try it when I get home :D I know it has caused me a lot of unfortunate taxi accidents in the past, hah! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Luzifer Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 When I noticed this problem with my Saitek Combat pedals (long time ago), the problem was only with DCS A-10C. Within Windows 7 Game Controllers there was no problem with toebrakes. I have checked it again and found that I see no problem in the Windows 7 Game Controllers settings, just in DCS. I don't remember why I thought that. However I think I remember reading that users of Microsoft FS also have these issues...
