Exorcet Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 So I went back to P-51 a few days ago, only to notice that the AI seems to like to suicide. I did not save tracks as I initially thought it was by chance. But today, I did some missile testing and a MiG-31 did an even more ridiculous suicide than the P-51, it flew into the ground while slowly descending to beam a missile. I have the track for this. I've seen the AI do this before, but I don't recall it happening so much.AI suicide.trk Awaiting: DCS F-15C Win 10 i5-9600KF 4.6 GHz 64 GB RAM RTX2080Ti 11GB -- Win 7 64 i5-6600K 3.6 GHz 32 GB RAM GTX970 4GB -- A-10C, F-5E, Su-27, F-15C, F-14B, F-16C missions in User Files
diditopgun Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) Yes known and very exasperating bug (at least by user, I don't know for ED)... Devrim Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I didn't surprize. Once, I'm hit (on Ka-50) and landed the ground. And my wingman came over me and landed "on me!" (of course he couldn't. We crashed). I can't proof, didn't get track... SkateZilla Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 surprised they havent changed the game to automatically save and store tracks in the folder. it does it already for MP, might as well do it all the time. That way when something happens, and ED says "post the trk" people arent like "i didnt save it". ENO Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 ummm... mine saves it automatically... not sure if it's something you can turn off? It's in the saved games folder / dcs / tracks... Maybe it's different in other modules or with single player. I only have MP tracks- but I've never played single player. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. SkateZilla Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 SP, you have to click the "Save Track" button in the debriefing screen. ENO Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 ooooooh. Okay- well that explains the "didn't save it" issue. Guys should just load "tacview" so that it auto records everything in DCSW automatically. Might not see the graphic glitches but the behaviour is probably more accurately replicated in Tacview than in the tracks (which we know are crap after 5 minutes or so anyway). Grimes Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Tacview is good for getting the whole picture of what happened or to show numbers to prove a point between people arguing over the amramm. However tracks are preferred when it comes to AI stuff. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
