Frostie Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) Currently the board doesn't register deaths other than crashes, this is the same bug that was present during the early stage of FC2 and I'm confident ED will repair it. But what I'd like to know is what happened to the scoring system from FC1 where you received a bonus to your sortie score for landing home safely. Currently in DCS if you destroy something you get a set score amd ths doesn't alter whether you live or die. With FC1s method if you for example splashed a bandit you would receive 10 points and then upon landing this would change up to 50 points. So 2 kills and rtb would give you 100pts where as 2 kills and death would only give you 20pts. A great reward for actually surviving. So are there any plans to bring this system back and if not why not? Edited January 31, 2013 by Frostie "[51☭] FROSTIE" #55 'Red 5'.
