Yellonet Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Is it possible? I recorded a track so that I could watch what the other side was doing in the fight but I couldn't as the view was locked to how I had used the views in the fight :( i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
504 Wolverine Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Use Lock On Track Utility (LOTU) to unlock the views.
Yellonet Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 Thanks... strange that you'd need a 'utility' though. Ok, I can't play the track at all now... WTF?!? i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
504 Wolverine Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Open the file and make sure the views you want unlocked are ticked. Works OK here mate.
Yellonet Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 Open the file and make sure the views you want unlocked are ticked. Works OK here mate.I did... and now I can't watch or edit the track in the game :( Edit: I can edit the track, and if I save it is watchable, but just as with the original, no view change... and if you open it with LOTU it looks like you should be able to. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
Yellonet Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 Hm.. I can watch the tracks now, I just made a mistake earlier, but LOTU doesn't do anything at all. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
Gazehound Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 There is no need to use lotu if it is causing you problems. OPen the track for editing by going to Lockon main menu/ open/ Then select tracks instead of missions and navigate to the folder the track is in. [edit] select the track file and click 'map'[/edit] Then select video edit from the 'FLIGHT' drop down menu at the top of the screen (the one that has record track, fly etc in it.) You can then watch the track and change views (you probably need to make sure externals are on in your options). You can pause to select the view you want. When the track is over you will be presented with a save option if you want ot save the edited version with the new views. If you do I recommend using a new filename. VVS504 Red Hammers

504 Wolverine Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 If you record a track from a server that has views locked then you need the LOTU. Yellonet where you trying to get different views from the track viewer (show button in main menu)? This was why you could not change views. The track viewer only shows what is recorded in track. Yellonet Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 Yep, didn't know about 'Video edit'. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
peterj Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 If you change a view in video edit, how do you get back to the recorded cockpit viewing? I know it's been covered before but i couldn't find it.
