i am new to this site and have a question about settings

in dcs su25 under controls there is a possibility for

cockpit moving back with rcontrol+rshift+num/

but it doesnot work NO movement

any idea what could be wrong

b.t.w the / works only but then the cockpit and the scenery move

at the same time

and I would like to move the cockpit only

I'm not sure the Su25 has 6DOF cockpit yet, must wait for version 1.2.3 of DSC world

6DOF has nothing to do with zooming in and out.

And your question was relative to the keys rcontrol+rshift+num/ doing no movement in the Su25......... ??????????

Works fine here in the T-Toad when remapped to a single input. Try and remap the three-key input to a single keypress (one of the Numpad arrow keys for example) and see if that helps.

as you know my major problem is , a too big cockpit which i normally in fsx could bring back.

my questions are

a-will in the new release of dcs that be possible and

b-is it already possible in flaming Cliffs 3

c-is there a demo availeble to find out if that is the case in fc3

thank you all for the imput

Are you referring to FOV?

I believe its snapviews.lua and/or snapviewsdefault.lua(i forget the second name).

i dont know

i am not familiar with dcs

my screen view is 5880x1080

my cockpit is too big and via / i can push it back

but thats not enough

so i dont know what else i can do to bring the cockpit more

backwards

thats all of my questions but no one has an answer

It's one of these two:

Snapviewsdefault.lua

or

view.lua

Edit: here's what I use for ka-50 with tir and triple screen setup...otherwise i'm too close to the hud

snapviews

Snap[9][13] = {}
Snap[9][13]["y_trans"] = 0
Snap[9][13]["x_trans"] = 0
Snap[9][13]["z_trans"] = 0
Snap[9][13]["vAngle"] = -15.592758472369
Snap[9][13]["rollAngle"] = 0
Snap[9][13]["viewAngle"] = 110--89.777544238285 <--only changed this
Snap[9][13]["hAngle"] = 0

the -- means a comment so it's really

Snap[9][13]["viewAngle"] = 110

views.lua line 136

CameraViewAngleLimits[KA_50]   = {20.0, 140.0}

forgot view.lua example

Did you try the "pit builders" view mode ? ctrl+f1 (hmm or was it alt+f1).

Just to make sure , you Are referring to 2d fsx cockpit, right ? Because I'm not sure what "bring more backwards" or "to big" means. In fsx the only thing you can adjust is eye point position and "zoom"/ field of view (FOV).

Not quite sure what you're asking

Its a 3d model, you just don't get the clickability and 6DOF cockpit(among other things)

posts 4 and 5

in regards to
