[VAF] Shocker Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Hello all, Before I installed the 2 patches ( 1.1.1.0 and 1.1.1.1) I had NO skipping but after I have a little skip in frames every 30 secs or so ? can anyone help me with this its really annoying ? I can run medium settings at 60 fps and tried everything on low. I cant figure this out. I am a newbie at this so pls take it easy with me :) Brad
Zomba Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 It's a problem that has developed with DCS World and is fairly common, especially in multiplayer. As to how to mitigate it, I'm not sure. I don't test for bugs, but when I do I do it in production.
mcmike Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I can also confirm I have had this issue for awhile. Once every 20-30 seconds there will be a brief freeze, then back to its normal 45-60 fps. Does not seem to matter whether you are on the ground or at 10000 feet. I have an ATI 7850 card installed. Have not found a fix for it yet either. Try installing DCS world, and then the A10C module and see if the performance is improved.

Mustang Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 During testing of DCS we found a bug that causes these hitches every few seconds and fixed it, best wait for a patch :)
Zomba Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Oh well, problem sorted. Hooray for testing. I don't test for bugs, but when I do I do it in production.
