Bahger Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I think this video glitch when the TAD is fully zoomed in has been around for a while but can anyone comment re. whether it has been acknowledged? Is there a workaround, such as higher cockpit res?
EvilBivol-1 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 It's just where that particular map chart ends. The only workaround is to use a different scale. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules
Bahger Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Hmm, how can it be where that map chart ends when, if you zoom out, you can see the rest of it? This glitch occurs elsewhere, too, and can make SPI hooking in the TAD a little more finicky.
falcon_120 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 When you zoom out you see a chart with different scale, this is,a different chart.
Hunter192 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I have the same problem too. Its fine until you 'zoom' right in to the map. I don't know who you are, and I don't know what you want. But I will find you, and I will kill you. :pilotfly:
smnwrx Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) When you zoom out you see a chart with different scale, this is,a different chart. This. U are not zooming in on the chart. You are looking at a completely different chart that covers less area by using a smaller scale, thus more detailed. So the missing area would be look like looking off the edge of a paper chart. Paganus Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 It's not a bug. EB is telling you the truth. Anytime a chart is unavailable you have the black background. Each zoom level is a different set of charts, so you may have a map at one zoom level but not another.
